DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Harvey Broadfoot moves ahead after latest counting event

Harvey Broadfoot (Royal Troon) has moved to the top of the table in the chase for 2023 Ayrshire Order of Merit title, and the Doc Thom Salver, after the latest counting event, The Gowf Cup at Loudoun was played last weekend.

John Shanks took maximum points with his winning score of 134 at 36 hole The Gowf Cup but second place, just a shot behind the winner, was enough to give Harvey Broadfoot sufficient points to overtake Blair Morton (Royal Troon) at the top of the table.

There are no further qualifying events due in July. The next counting events are the Scottish Amateur Championship at Royal Dornoch & Tain, The Stevenson Trophy at Girvan and the Viking Krus at Largs, which all take place in early August.

With 11 of this season's 18 counting events now completed, present positions in the Doc Thom Ayrshire Order of Merit table are:-
