ST ANDREWS LINKS TROPHY - McDonald finishes joint 14th on windy Old Course

Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) finished in joint fourteenth place in the weather shortened St Andrews Links Trophy over the weekend of 5th to 7th June, after his challenge was blown off course during the two rounds over the Old Course on Sunday.

After a six under par opening round on the Jubilee course on Friday, and a cancelled second round, McDonald was in joint second place, but successive rounds of 77 on the Old Course on Sunday dropped him down to joint fourteenth place, on 220, six strokes adrift of the eventual winner Federico Zucchetti from Italy.
