DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Keith Hamilton takes lead after Ayr Seafield victory

Keith Hamilton (Ayr Belleisle) has taken top spot in the 2015 Ayrshire Order Of Merit, for the Doc Thom Salver, following a top placing in the Ayr Seafield Open on Saturday 6th June.

With the country being battered by high winds and rain throughout the day, Hamilton's scratch score of 69 over the Seafield course was a remarkable effort on the day, leaving him two shots clear of his closest rival.

The leading scratch scores at the Ayr Seafield Open were :-

69 - Keith Hamilton (Ayr Belleisle)
71 - Steve Slater (City Of Newcastle), Stuart Robin (Prestwick St Cuthbert)
73 - David Taylor (Ayr Seafield), Scott Brown (Turnberry)
74 - Tommy McInally (Loudoun)
