BRITISH WOMANS CHAMPIONSHIP - Jaffrey loses out in first round of matchplay

Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) was defeated in the first matchplay round of the British Womans Championshuip at Royal St Georges, Sandwich, Kent, on Thursday 26 June.

The Ayrshire player was up against 2013 finalist Luna Sobron (Spain) and lost out by 3 & 2.

The only one of the five Scots who qualified for the matchplay rounds who remains in the last 16 is Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield)
