BRITISH WOMANS AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP - Connie Jaffrey edges into matchplay stages

Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies)  was one of five Scots who successfully made the matchplay stages of the 2014 British Womans Amateur Championship, being held this week at Royal St George's GC, Sandwich, Kent.

Jaffrey edged into the matchplay right on the cut mark of 156, following the opening two strokeplay qualifying rounds.

The other Scots qualifiers were :-
153 - Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield)
155 - Lauren Whyte (St Regulus)
155 - Ailsa Summers (Carnoustie Ladies)
155 - Alyson McKechin (Elderslie) 

In the first round of the matchplay on Thursday 26 June, Connie Jaffrey faces Luna Sobron (Spain).
