The Abbotsford pairing of Robert Adams & Ian Pirrie have booked the first of the quarter final places in this years Ayrshire Fourball Championship.The duo beat John Beckett & Graeme Armstrong (Moorpark) by 4 & 3 at home to move into the last eight of the competition.
In the quarter finals the Abbotsford team will be at home again, against either Blair Graham & Jamie Bryant (Ardeer) or Jim Mitchell & Ian Fisher (Ballochmyle).
The remaining third round matches are due to be completed by 22nd June.
