AYRSHIRE SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP - One week until closing date

Entries for the 2014 Ayrshire Seniors Championship, to be played at Prestwick St Cuthbert GC on Tuesday 15th July, close on Saturday 8th July.

The competition, for the Sandy Provan Trophy, is open to any player over 55 years of age who is a member of a club affilliated to The Ayrshire Golf Association.

Entry fee is £10 and entry forms should be available through member clubs and can be downloaded direct from the appropriate link on the left of this page, under the 'Mens Info' heading.

The Sandy Provan Trophy is awarded to the player who returns the best net score of the day. 2013 winner Andy Gilchrist (Loudoun) - pictured - returns this year to defend the trophy won last year over his home course.


There are also scratch prizes and further handicap prizes in three age groups.

Places in the field are allocated on a first come first served basis and there are still a number of places available in the competition.

Entries should be forwarded as soon as possible to the Ayrshire Golf Association Secretary.
