DAILY TELEGRAPH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP - Rachael McQueen qualifies

Rachael McQueen (Troon Bentinck Ladies) is one of only two scots out of the 21 players to qualify for the 2007 Daily Telegraph Junior Finals, to be held at Dubai Creek.

With no Scottish qualifiers in the boys section, McQueen, who also plays at Kilmarnock (Barassie), will contest the girls championship, alongside fellow Scot Carly Booth (Comrie) at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club from October 7th to 9th.

17 year old McQueen, who has already represented Ayrshire in the West Of Scotland inter county matches, was the leading qualifier in the girls' category and will be hoping to follow last years winner, fellow Scot Sally Watson from South Queensferry, in winning the girls title.
