Paul Moultrie (Troon Portland) is the only Ayrshire player who came through the strokeplay qualifying in the British Mid Amateur Championship, being held at Alwoodley Golf Club, Leeds, this week.
Moultrie returned rounds of 76 & 74 for a 150 total, to comfortably qualify for the matchplay stages with a 5 stroke cushion.
