AYRSHIRE GOLF ASSOCIATION - Brown wins Junior Order Of Merit

Euan Brown (Kilmarnock Barassie) - pictured right - is the 2007 Ayrshire Junior Order Of merit Trophy winner, after the final qualifying competition, the Beith Boys Open, was completed on Sunday 26th August.





None of the leading players gained points in the closing event at Beith.


Brown, The 2007 Ayrshire Boys Champion, won the title by 50 points, in a close run contest with the 2007 Ayrshire Boys Matchplay title holder Malcolm Pennycott (Whiting Bay).(pictured right)





Third place went to Scott Brown (Turnberry) - pictured below - who finished just ahead of the Ayr Belleisle pairing of Adam Foley and Scott Clark, who finished 4th and 5th respectively.





The remaining prizewinners, who will be presented with their prizes at the annual Ayrshire Junior Golf League dinner in November, were Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) and Jamie Acheson (Largs Routenburn)
