Ayrshire are the 2024 West of Scotland Inter County Under 18 Boys Champions following a win over Stirlingshire in their final fixture at Irvine Golf Club on Sunday the 1st of September 2024.

The Ayrshire team secured the David Wishart Trophy for the first time since 2019 with a 7-1 win in the match.
7&6 wins by Aidan Hay and Scott Newman set Ayrshire on their winning path and when Quintin Dunlop and Jack Broadfoot added wins by 6&5 and 6&4 and Mason Chisholm secured a 4&3 win in the lead tie, victory was assured.
Lyal Vogwell added a 3&2 win while Liam Moran had a winning birdie three at the final hol to secure a single hole victory.
In the final tie, Dylan Scally narrowly lost out by a single hole to give Ayrshire their 7-1 victory in the match.
