Sam Findlater (Braehead) received a walkover from Gordon Johnston (Kilbirnie Place) and will now travel to play Louis Fleming (West Kilbride) in the last eight, whilst a 2&1 home win over David Nelson (Turnberry) had secured David Robertson (Prestwick St Cuthbert) a home tie in the quarter finals against title holder Blair Morton (Royal Troon).
The remaining two third round matches, featuring Robbie MacInnes (Rowallan Castle) against Aidan Long (Ayr Belleisle) and John R. Anderson (Skelmorlie) against Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) are due to be competed by the 25th of June, after which the full quarter final line up will be confirmed.
