In an extremely tight match on Friday evening at Bogside, Irvine
edged out their visitors from Loudoun by 3.5 – 2.5 to end Loudoun’s hopes of
retaining the Division 1 title and move to pole position in the title race themselves.
Turnberry now hold the key to the destination of the 2021
Division 1 crown as they host both the league leaders, Irvine, and second
placed team, Prestwick St Cuthbert, in the final two fixtures of the campaign.
