SKELMORLIE LADIES' PINK DAY - Charity day success at Skelmorlie

The Skelmorlie Golf Club ladies had a successful Pink medal on Friday 19 September, raising a fantastic sum for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity

Ladies' captain Gillian Pollock reported :-

One of the best turnouts we have had for any competition this year with 23 ladies taking part.  Add in the 26 men who played their own competition throughout the day and you get a course and clubhouse which were ablaze with good humour, amazing pink outfits and lots of laughs.

Everyone was extremely generous and the final total raised from all our fundraising efforts both on the day and from collections at West College Scotland, Greenock Campus, were a fantastic £1600 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity – a very worthwhile cause.
