IRVINE GOLF CLUB 125th ANNIVERSARY - Milestone marked by celebration dinner

Irvine Golf Club celebrate their 125th anniversary in 2012 and one of the highlights of the celebrations took place on Friday 29th June with a dinner being held in the clubhouse at Bogside.

Members were well entertained throughout the evening and were delighted to see The Walker Cup arrive to take centre stage during the course of Nigel Edwards presentation.

During the evening Peter Dawson presented the club with a Commerative Salver to mark the occasion.



Irvine are not the only local club celebrating their 125th anniversary this year, with near neighbours Kilmarnock (Barassie) also marking the milestone during 2012.
