LAND OF BURNS GOLF FESTIVALS - Annanhill initiative to introduce kids to golf

Annanhill Golf club will be hosting PGA supervised golf training and tuition on Sunday 9th May and Sunday 16th May, as part of the Land of Burns Festivals.

The aim of the session is to give children an introduction into golf with skills challenges, coaching and free golf gift on attendance.

The cost of the coaching will be £10 but as part of Annanhill Golf clubs junior recruitment the £10 will be refunded to each child who affiliates to the golf clubs junior section, if the child wishes to do so. This will also entitle players to play in junior golf club competitions, receive additional PGA coaching from professionals along with (PGA accredited) golf club members and benefit from being a club member.

Annanhill Golf club are actively recruiting new members for their junior section. The junior season runs from late April until early September and there are 20 competitions over the season.

Tee off times reserved for junior competitions are on a Tuesday from 15:45 – 17:00. There are 3 course maps available, white medal tees for 18 holes (for the more experienced player) yellow tees for 14 holes (for the intermediate player) and blue tees for 9 holes for the beginners.

Golf is a sport for life and children will learn new skills in golf but will also be part of something that will keep them physically active for years to come.
