Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie) was beaten in the semi finals of the 2009 Scottish Senior Women's Amateur Matchplay Championship on Friday 3rd July at the Montgomery course at Kinross.The former Ayrshire Ladies Champion was beaten 6 & 4 by the eventual winner, Heather Anderson (Alyth), after qualifying for the matchplay stages from the strokeplay event earlier in the week.
Anderson beat Moira Thomson (Gullane Ladies) in the final by 5 & 3.
