With Leagues 4 & 5 of the 2009 Ayrshire Summer League completed, Beith and Troon Welbeck go forward to play off for a place in the semi finals of the competition.
Tam O Shanter dashed any glimmering hopes of Kilmarnock (Barassie) matching Beith's total in League 4 when the Ayr team won by 4 - 2 over barassie in their final fixture.
A 4 - 2 home win over New Cumnock, coupled with a home win by New Cumnock over Largs, by the same score, saw Troon Welbeck through in League 5, and setting a home and away play off with Beith for a place in the last four.
In League 1, Ballochmyle still look strong favourites to go through whilst in League 2 a 3.5 - 2.5 home win by Ardeer over Troon St. Meddans leaves St. Meddans, Ardeer or Loudoun closely matched in the race for the semi final place.
