Troon Welbeck and Loudoun will meet in the 2005 Ayrshire Summer League final.
With a narrow 3.5-2.5 advantage after their home match in the semi final, Welbeck travelled to Kilmarnock (Barassie) for what looked to be a perilous away leg. This did not however prove to be the case, Welbeck recording a notable 5 - 1 win on their visit to their near neighbours, for a 8.5 - 3.5 over all win in their semi final.
In the second semi final, Annanhill took a 4.5 - 1.5 advantage from their home leg, but in the return, Loudoun gained a 4.5 - 1.5 win for a 6 - 6 aggregate result, with Loudoun progressing to the final by virtue of a countback over the individual ties over both legs of the semi final.
The final, which will also be played on a home and away basis, is due for completion by Monday 3rd October, with Loudoun scheduled to be at home in the first leg.
