AYRSHIRE Vs SOUTH OF SCOTLAND - Boys and youths team regain President's Trophy at Ayr Seafield.

The combined Ayrshire Boys & Youth team regained the President's Trophy at Ayr Seafield on Sunday 31st March in their annual match against The South Of Scotland, which heralded the start of the competitive season in the county.

After losing the match narrowly last year at Portpatrick, the Ayrshire side stormed to victory by 13 - 5 this year to win back the trophy.

The six morning foursomes matches were won comfortably by 5 - 1 and wins in 8 of the 12 singles in the afternoon saw Ayrshire home to a match win.
