AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - All four leagues now under way

All four divisions in the Ayrshire Scratch Leagues are now under way.

In DIVISION 1, Loudoun and Prestwick St Cuthbert fought out a 3 – 3 draw over the Galston course recently.

In DIVISION 2, positions are very tight after the opening games.

Irvine Ravenspark and Troon Welbeck shared the spoils in their two matches, each side winning 4.5 – 1.5 in their home ties.

Troon St Meddans got the better of their near neighbours Troon Welbeck in their clash, emerging as winners by 3.5 – 2.5, whilst Ballochmyle crushed their visitors from Irvine Ravenspark by 5.5 – 0.5, only to lose out by 5  - 1 to Ayr Belleisle in their first away match of the campaign.

In DIVISION 3, Prestwick St Nicholas opened with a 4.5 – 1.5 home win over Caprington whilst Rowallan castle won 4 – 2 away from home at Kilbirnie Place in their opening fixture.
