Defending champions Loudoun got off to a winning start in their bid to retain the Ayrshire Scratch leagues this year.In their opening Division 1 fixture, Loudoun beat their visitors Kilmarnock (Barassie) by 4.5 - 1.5.
In Division 2, a fixture mix up resulted in Caprington being awarded a 4 - 2 away win over newly promoted Girvan in their opening match.
In Division 3, Prestwick St Nicholas indicated their early intentions with a 6 - 0 home win over new Cumnock in their first fixture of the league campaign.
In Division 4, Tam O Shanter opened with a 4.5 - 1.5 home win over newly promoted Doon Valley.
