Three more clubs have booked their place in the last 16 of the 2014 Ayrshire Fourball Championship.Gary Jordan & Paul Ferguson (Crosshouse) won by 3 & 2 at home to Jock Barr Jr. & David Sloan (Doon Valley) to set up a third round encounter away from home against Victor Sproat & David Lewis (Ayr Belleisle).
Blair Graham & Jamie Bryant (Ardeer) beat Robert Cornelius and Nairn Burns (Alton) away from home in round two and will be at home to either Jim Mitchell & Ian Fisher (Ballochmyle) or Shaun Armstrong & Gary Davidson (Prestwick St Cuthbert) in round three.
Also through to round three are Andrew Macdonald & Robert Paterson (Auchenharvie) who beat Stephen Simpson & Gavin Stewart (Girvan) by 4 & 3, at Girvan, in the second round. The Auchinharvie pair have another away tie in round three, against either Hugh Fyfe & Callum Weir(Muirkirk) or Robert Long & John Sloan (Tam O Shanter).
All remaining second round ties are due to be completed by 18th May.
