Scottish Boys Champion David Wilson (Troon Welbeck) - pictured - was the best of the Ayrshire players in the first of the Scottish Hydro Junior Tour events of the season, held at Gullane No 2 on the weekend of 31st March - 1st April.Wilson returned rounds of 71, 74 & 70 for a three round total of 215, two over par. This left Wilson in 11th place, 7 shots adrift of the winner, Alexander Wilson (The Renaissance Club).
Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) returned a four over par score of 217 (71/74/72) for a share of 16th place whilst Callum Gorrie (Kilmarnock Barassie) finished tied 22nd on 222, 9 over par, after rounds of 73, 76 & 73.
Ayrshire's other representative in the event, Ayrshire Boys Champion Callum Beveridge, returned opening scores of 78 & 77 but retired after completing his second round.
