Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) finished in joint runner up spot in the Tennant Cup, played at Glasgow Golf Club Gailes & Killermont courses over the weekend.
Along with Sam Binning (Ranfurly Castle), Stewart finished on 284 for four rounds, leaving him four strokes adrift of the winner Ross Kellett (Colville Park) on 280
Steven McEwan (Caprington) finished on 290, with rounds of 74 & 71 over each of the courses whilst the other Ayrshire players to make the cut, John Shanks (Irvine) & Chris harkins (Ayr Belleisle) finished on 299 & 300 respectively.
Jonathan King (Glasgow), a member of the winning Prestwick team in the Scottish Club Championship last year, finished on 295.
