BELLEISLE CUP - Hamilton wins on home turf

2009 Ayrshire Order Of Merit winner Keith Hamilton won the 2010 Belleisle Cup, sponsored by Slater Hogg & Howison, over his home course on Sunday 30th May.

Hamilton led the 36 hole Ayrshire Order Of Merit counting competition from the front, recording a two under par 69 to lead the field after the morning round.

Despite a spirited fightback by former winner Paul Guult (Westerwood) in the afternoon, who finished with three succesive threes for a 69, Keith Hamilton held on with a second round of 70 for a three under par total of 139.

The CSS for both rounds remained unchanged at 72.
