Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) finished in joint seventh place in the 2010 St Andrews Links Trophy on Sunday 6th June, behind the winner Matthew Southgate (Thorpe Hall).
Runner up in the same event two years ago, Stewart shot rounds of 73 and 68 over the Jubilee Course on Saturday to lie four of the pace, and followed on with rounds of 72 and 69 on The Old Course on Sunday for a 282 total which left him seven shots adrift of Southgate.
