Four of the eight quarter finalists in the 2010 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions have booked their places in the last eight of the tournament.
Craig Robertson (Abbotsford) booked his quarter final berth with a 2 & 1 home win over Gary Cochran (Irvine Ravenspark). Robertson now faces a home tie against Euan McKinnon (Corrie) or Scott McCahill (Maybole)
Also through to the last eight is Gordon McKelvie (Royal Troon) who had a one hole win over Fraser McCall (Troon Portland) in round 3. Mckelvie now has a home tie in the quarter finals against the holder Tommy McInally (Loudoun) who beat Andy Reid (Ayr Carrick) by 4 & 3 to progress.
The other player through to the quarter finals so far is Kevin Brock (Prestwick St. Nicholas) who had a 4 & 2 away win against Steven Jackson (Wallacetown). Brock will travel in the quarter finals to play either Adam Sweeney (Largs Routenburn) or Steven McEwan (Caprington).
The remaining third round ties are due to be completed by Monday 21st June.
