SCHOOLS GOLF - Foley leads Belmont Academy to South Ayrshire title

Belmont Academy are the new South Ayrshire Schools Champions after their recent win in the local event at Ayr Dalmilling.

The team of Callum Stewart, Adam Foley (pictured right), Ross Donaldson and Craig Telfer beat the opposition to the title, with Adam Foley recording the best round of the day with a fine score of 70.

Foley's efforts were rewarded with a place in the team to represent South Ayrshire in the Scottish Schools Championship later in the year at Inchmarlo in Aberdeenshire.
