The Ayrshire Summer league competition is under way, as teams bid for a place in the semi final matches later in the year.
In the first match of the 2008 season, Defending champions Irvine (Bogside) were held to a 3 - 3 draw by Ardeer in the opening League 3 encounter.
Teams will play home and away matches in four league sections, by the end of July, with the section winners progressing to the semi finals.
