Ollie Blackadder (Deeside) led the quailfyers after the two strokeplay qualifying rounds on Tuesday and Wednesday this week with a seven under par total of 136, following rounds of 64 and 72.
Best for Ayrshire was Craig Chalmers (Western Gailes) in joint 31st place with a three over par score of 146 (74/72)
Ruben Lindsay (Turnberry) also qualified, in joint 56th place, with a six over par total of 149 (75/74).
With eight players on 150 in joint 64th place, it was Jamie Hay (Ayr Belleisle) (71/79) who took the last place in the matchplay draw.
On Thursday morning Jamie Hay is out in the first game at 7.00 am against the leading qualifier Ollie Blackadder.
Craig Chalmers is in the second match of the morning at 7.08 am against the 33rd qualifier Greg Andrews (East Kilbride) while Ruben Lindsay tees off at 08.12 am against the fourth qualifier, Scotland international Matt Clark (Meldrum House).
