AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE -Troon Welbeck and Irvine to contest the Under 16 Knockout Trophy final.

The 2022 Ayrshire Junior Golf League Under 16 Knockout Trophy final will be contested by Troon Welbeck and Irvine golf clubs after the semi final matches were completed recently.

Both semi finals finished as 2 - 2 draws, with the finalists being decided by a countback over the scores of the individual ties in each match.

Irvine travelled to face Prestwick St Nicholas in their semi final and had a countback score of 15 - 8 in their favour to progress, whilst The countback score was 9 - 2 in favour of Troon Welbeck on their visit to West Kilbride in their semi final tie.

The final of the competition will be held in September at Prestwick St Cuthbert golf club.
