With just six days to go until the second round matches are due to be completed in the 2019 Ayrshire Fourball Championship, four more clubs have booked their places in the third round.Halbert Oliver & James McCulloch (Caprington) were comfortable 4 & 3 winners over their visitors Colin Booth & Kenny Marshall (West Kilbride), and now face either Glacier or Ayr Belleisle in the last sixteen.
Robert Adams & Ian Pirrie (Abbotsford) were also home winners, by 3&2, over David Pratt & Ryan Frew (Annanhill) and will now travel to play Wallacetown in the third round.
A single hole victory in their away tie against Alan & Marc Wallace (Doon Valley) was enough to see Craig Campbell & Lenny Cuthbert (Braehead) into the next round, where they face a trip to New Cumnock for a place in the quarter finals.
The other second round match played recently saw Andrew Brown & Kirk Ramsay (Redburn) win at the first extra hole against Stephen Sunnocks & William Forbes (Malletsheugh), with the reward being a home tie in round three against either Skelmorlie or Tam O Shanter.
