WEST OF SCOTLAND WOMAN'S INTER COUNTY MATCHES - Ayrshire win on day two at hamilton

Ayrshire had a convincing 6.5 - 2.5 win over Dumbarton & Argyll on the second day of the 2017 West Of Scotland Woman's Inter County Matches, being played this week at Hamilton Golf Club.

A 3 - 0 foursomes win in the morning set the Ayrshire team on the winning track and by winning the singles 3.5 - 2.5, the team had a clear win overall.

In the other match on day two, Renfrewshire beat Lanarkshire 5-4.

Renfrewshire now have two wins from two, with Lanarkshire and Ayrshire with one win each, whilst Dumbarton & Argyll still to record their first win of the series.

The overall winners after day three, on Wenesday, will represent the West Division in the Scottish women's county finals at Stirling Golf Club from 15th to 18th September.
