LADIES' BRITISH AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP - Connie Jaffrey qualifies for matchplay stages

Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) was one of five Scots who qualified for the Matchplay stages of the 2017 Ladies’ British  Amateur Championship at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club on Wednesday, 14th June.

The newly crowned Scottish Champion had an opening round 75 on Tuesday but rallied in her second round on Wednesday, returning a 71 despite a double bogey 6 at the 13th, to qualify joint 22nd on 146.

In the first round of the Matchplay on Thursday morning, Jaffrey plays Elin Esborn (Sweden).

The other Scottish qualifiers were:-

Lauren Whyte (St Regulus)
