The line up for the Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Championship, to be held at Prestwick Golf Club from 11th to 13th August has been confirmed, following completion of qualifying in the Ayrshire Boys Championship at West Kilbride.The first round ties are scheduled to take place on Tuesday 11th August, commencing at 4.30 p.m.
The top qualifier Craig McKenzie (Troon Welbeck), winner of the Strokeplay title this year, faces a first round encounter with the current leader of the Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit, Euan Ferguson (Turnberry).
Robbie Muir (Kilmarnock Barassie) takes on Charlie Cameron (Ayr Belleisle) in the second of the opening round ties.
The defending champion Jack Thomas (Irvine) plays Andrew Gordon (Ayr Belleisle), the recent winner of the Tom Lehman Trophy at Troon.
The remaining first round match pairs Sean Cook (Kilmarnock Barassie) and Blair Fleming (Troon Welbeck).
