Local hope Hazel McGarvie (Troon Ladies)
dropped down the field a bit on day two of the Helen Holm Scottish Ladies Open
Strokeplay Championship at Royal Troon on a cold and breezy Saturday.
After her opening round 70, McGarvie slipped
back to a 79 in round two to finish on 149, leaving her only seven shots off
the pace with the final round over the Old Course to come on Sunday.
The other Ayrshire player in the finald, Emma
Hale, missed the cut after a second round 85 for a 163 total.
