Four Ayrshire players have been named in the field for the traditional opening event of the national season, the Scottish Champion Of Champions competition which will be held at Leven Links in Fife on 3rd and 4th April.
The 72 hole event will feature the reigning Ayrshire Strokeplay Champion John Shanks (Irvine) as well as the Matchplay winner Scott Brown (Turnberry)
Also in the field is current internationalist Steven McEwan (Caprington) and Euan Brown (Kilmarnock Barassie) who was a quarter finalist in the 2009
