Ayrshire interst was ended when Ronnie McLellan (Turnberry) bowed out of the 2008 Scottish Seniors Matchplay Championship this afternoon, being defeated 5 & 4 by an on form Henry Andreson (Glenbervie).
Anderson was 3 under par when the match against McLellan finished, having already beaten the top seed in the second round tie earlier in the day.
