WEST OF SCOTLAND BOYS LEAGUE - Ayrshire take on champions elect in final match of the season

The West Of Scotland Boys inter county league for the Wishart Trophy concludes this Sunday (26th September) with Glasgow and Dumbartonshire meeting at Cowglen and Ayrshire entertaining Stirlingshire at Brunston Castle.

Despite a run of good results, Ayrshire cannot, even with a win on Sunday, overtake the champions elect, Stirlingshire, but will be aiming to end their visitors 100% record in this seasons championship. Stirlingshire clinched the title with a 5.5 - 2.5 away win against Dumbartonshire at Clober last month, whilst Renfrewshire, defeated by Ayrshire in August, bounced back in their final match, played last week, with a 7 - 1 win over Lanarkshire at Paisley.
