The Ayrshire Boys' and a new Ayrshire Girls' Strokeplay Championships will take place at Annahill golf course on Thursday the 1st of August, with trophies up for grabs for the first time on both a scratch and handicap basis in each competition.
The boys' championship will take place over 36 holes, with the scratch winner receiving the Ayrshire Boys Championship Trophy and the player returning the best nett score of the day being awarded a new trophy, the Hilmarton Trophy, presented by Ayrshire Golf Association Executive member Mike Hazlewood.
The new girls'championship will be held over 18 holes on the same day with the players returnign the best scratch score winning the Ayrshire Girls' Strokeplay Championship trophy and the player returning the best nett score being awarded the Prestwick Salver, presented by Ayrshire Golf Association Honorary President Alasdair Malcolm.
The entry for each competition is £10.00 and the entry forms should be availabkle through club secretaries, or can be downloaded via the links below, and players are encouraged to enter the events as soon as possible.
