The Ayrshire boys team opened their bid for the Wishart Trophy, and 2024 West of Scotland Inter County Under 18 League Championship, with a fine away win by 4.5 - 3.5 over the title holders Lanarkshire at Kirkhill GC on Sunday the 26th of May.

The otheer tie in the first round of fixtures was played on the 12th of may and resulted in a 4.5 - 3.5 win for renfrewshire over their hosts from Dumbartonshire at Dumbarton GC.
The next series of fixtures take place in June where Renfrewshire play host to Glasgow at Cochrane Castle on the 2nd, lanarkshire are at home to Stirlingshire at easter Moffat on the 16th and Ayrshire host Dumbartonshire at Ayr Belleisle on the 23rd.
