Facing and away tie against Jamie Clark & Allan Dunlop (Wallacetown) in the opening round, the Annanhill pair won through on the final green by a single hole to progress.
Goldie & Purvis now have a trip to either Irvine or Kilbirnie Place in round two.
There are eight other first round ties still to be completed by the 28th of April.
