Kieran & Thomas Reid (Alton) beat their visitors Cameron Hill & Fraser Robertson (Kilmarnock Barassie) by a single hole to progress while Danny Chilton & Daniel Sharpe (Prestwick Centre) had a home win over Barry McDonnell & Ronnie Watters (Stewarton) at the third extra hole and will be at home in round two against Gordon Brown & James McGill (Moorpark) who beat Ian Spiers & Scott Cassidy (The Chase) by 2 &1 to progress from round one.
