In what proved to be the closest of the four quarter finals, both Ardeer and Annanhill won their respective home ties by 3.5 - 2.5 giving a 6 - 6 overall score. The tie was then decided on the countback over the individual ties in the two legs, which proved almost as close, with Ardeer edging into the semi finals with a 30 - 28 countback score in their favour.
The semi finals, which are also played on a home and away basis, are:-
ARDEER Vs AUCHINHARVIE 88
ALTON Vs AYR SEAFIELD
The semi finals are due to be completed by the 27th of August with the final scheduled to take place during Finals day at Prestwick St Cuthbert GC on Sunday the 3rd of September.
