SCOTTISH GOLF CLUB FORUM - Ayrshire meeting scheduled for Troon on 11th March

Scottish Golf are hosting a club forum in Ayrshire on MONDAY 11th MARCH 2019, to which representatives of all member clubs are cordially invited.

The event will take place from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. at the Walker Halls in Troon.

Regional Team Manager Mandy Martin, Women & Girls Manager Carol Harvey and the South West Area Regional Club Development Officer Ann Lang will be in attendance at the meeting.

This is a great opportunity for Ayrshire clubs to engage with the national body, and learn not only what is going on but what can be done for your own club,  with the following topics scheduled to be covered during the evening

  • Regional Club Development Officer Support & Services
  • Women & Girls Projects update
  • Buying Group
  • Environment & Sustainability
  • Scottish Golf’s Digital Platform

Although no representation from the developers of the new Digital Platform will be in attendance on the night, Ann Lang is happy to take questionsfrom clubs on the subject by email in advance of the meeting, and she will make every effort to try and provide answers on the evening.

In the next month or so there will be specific forums for clubs to attend and see the new digital platform in operation but Ann considers it important that clubs are provided with answers to any questions they may on the subject at this early stage.

Clubs should forward any Digital Platform specific questions to Ann lang at a.lang@scottishgolf.org

It would also be helpful if clubs intending to be represented on the night could advise Ann by email of their attendance.

member clubs are encouraged to consider attending the forum, which will be a great opportunity to find out more about what the national governing body are able to offer clubs and their members and what work is being done to develop the game throughout the country.
