MENS HOME INTERNATIONALS - International debut for Jim Johnston as three Ayrshire players are named in Scotland squad.

Jim Johnston (Ayr Belleisle) has been named in the Scotland team who will contest the Men's Home Internationals at Conwyn, Wales, from 12th to 14th September, alongside fellow Ayrshire golfers Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) and Stuart Easton (Irvine).

Johnston, the current Ayrshire Strokeplay Champion will make his international debut in the event, having been rewarded for a number of fine performances in events throughout the country this season, including a win in the prestigious Tennant Cup at Glasgow Golf Club as well as a run to the quarter finals of the Scottish Amateur Championship, and is one of five players making their Scotland debut next week.

The event will also mark a Home Internationals debut for Stuart Easton, who has previously represented Scotland at the event at Boys level and made his senior Scotland debut last year at the European Team Championships.

Ewan Walker will join the eleven strong squad next week after representing scotland this week in the World Amateur Team Championship for The Eisenhower Trophy in ireland.
