WEST OF SCOTLAND BOYS INTER COUNTY LEAGUE - Ayrshire well placed following opening draws

With draws in their opening two matches in the 2016 West Of Scotland Boys Inter County league, Ayrshire remain on course to challenge for the title.

Defending champions Renfrewshire presently lead the title chase, being undefeated in three games with a 6 – 2 win away to Stirlingshire being followed by 4 – 4 draws away to Ayrshire and at home to Lanarkshire.

Lanarkshire presently lie in second place with three points from their draw with Renfrewshire and a 7.5 – 0.5 home win over Dumbartonshire, whilst Glasgow are in a good position in third place with three points from just two games played, their opening home draw with Ayrshire being followed by a 5 – 3 home win over Lanarkshire.

Ayrshire presently sit in fourth place with two points from two matches whilst Stirlingshire and Dumbartonshire are at the foot of the table, still seeking their first points of the campaign.

Ayrshire’s next match is on Sunday 31st July at home to Stirlingshire at Largs.
