Malcolm Pennycott (Royal Burgess / Whiting Bay) is the last Ayrshire player in the 2016 Scottish Amateur Championship at Royal Aberdeen, following completion of the fifth round matches on Thursday afternoon, 28th July.Ayrshire's other player in the last sixteen, Stuart Easton (Irvine) lost out to Connor Syme (Drumoig) in their fifth round tie by 3 & 2, whilst malcolm Pennycott booked his place in the quarter finals with a 3 & 2 win over William Walker (Belton Park).
