Frenchman Romaine Wattel, the halfway leader, stormed to the Scottish Strokeplay title at Glasgow Gailes on Sunday with a six stroke winning margin in the 72 hole event.
Rounds of 68, 67, 71 & 69 gave Wattel a 9 under par total.
Second place went to Billy Hempstock (Teighnmouth) on 3 under par, after rounds of 67, 70, 74 & 70.
Best placed Scot was Bryan Innes (Murchar) who took the bronze medal with one over par after rounds of 70, 71, 75 & 69.
Lying in joint third place overnight, Chris Hharkins (Ayr Belleisle) saw his hopes for the title dashed with a third round 79 but he rallied with a 74 in the final round for an eight over par total and a share of 20th place.
The other Ayrshire player to make the halfway cut, Steven McEwan (Caprington), finished with rounds of 74 & 80 for a total of 14 over par and share of 29th place.
